senior ACCOUNT Executive, campaigns

Account Servicing / Experiential Events

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, creative and commercially minded Senior Account Executive to join Invade’s Campaigns team.

You will be the client-facing lead for assigned projects, taking ownership from the initial brief and proposal stage through to live execution and post-event review. A key part of the role is developing strong experiential concepts and translating them into compelling, client-ready proposals, with guidance from our in-house Creative Strategist and support from the wider team.

The ideal candidate is independent, forward-thinking and comfortable working in a fast-paced events environment. You should be able to balance creativity with business and operational considerations, make sound decisions under pressure, and actively explore how AI and new tools can improve the quality and efficiency of your work.

Key Responsibilities

Client and Project Management

  • Manage client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts and projects.

  • Understand client objectives, audiences, budgets and requirements, and translate them into clear project directions.

  • Lead client meetings, presentations, work-in-progress sessions and project communications.

  • Coordinate project timelines, approvals and key deliverables across internal teams.

  • Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle, including during event setup and live execution.

  • Lead post-event debriefs, reporting and account follow-ups.

Creative Concept and Proposal Development

  • Develop creative event concepts, experiential ideas and proposal narratives together with the Creative Strategist and internal teams.

  • Turn open-ended briefs into clear, relevant and commercially sound experience directions.

  • Lead the preparation of pitch decks, proposals and client presentations using Google Slides.

  • Present ideas confidently and explain the rationale, value and feasibility behind each recommendation.

  • Provide clear direction and feedback to ensure proposals are visually cohesive, persuasive and aligned with the client brief.

  • Contribute original ideas while working collaboratively with the in-house Creative Strategist and design team.

Commercial and Delivery Management

  • Work closely with Project Management, Creative, Production, Marketing and other teams to ensure ideas are feasible and deliverable.

  • Develop and manage project cost estimates, quotations, budgets, margins and scope changes.

  • Balance creative ambition with client objectives, operational requirements and commercial considerations.

  • Identify risks, gaps and dependencies early, and recommend practical solutions.

  • Maintain clear documentation and ensure key client decisions and approvals are properly recorded.

Innovation and Ways of Working

  • Use AI and digital tools responsibly to support research, ideation, proposal development, documentation and workflow efficiency.

  • Explore new tools and methods that can improve productivity, quality and collaboration.

  • Apply sound judgement when using AI, ensuring information remains accurate, relevant and appropriately reviewed.

Requirements

  • At least two years of direct events-industry experience in account servicing, experiential marketing, creative strategy or project leadership.

  • Experience managing projects from briefing and proposal development through to live event execution.

  • Strong ability to develop creative concepts and translate them into clear, visually compelling and commercially sound proposals.

  • A creative or design-related background is strongly preferred.

  • Strong visual sensibility and the ability to recognise what makes a proposal, moodboard or creative direction cohesive and persuasive.

  • Good business and commercial acumen, with experience handling budgets, quotations, margins and scope changes.

  • Strong critical-thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to manage clients and projects independently with limited supervision.

  • Forward-thinking and open to adopting AI, technology and new ways of working.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Highly organised, accountable and comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently.

  • Able to remain calm, adaptable and solutions-focused in fast-moving or high-pressure situations.

  • Willing to work selected evenings, weekends and public holidays when required for events.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in an event agency, experiential agency, creative agency, festival organiser or exhibition company.

  • Experience working on festivals, brand activations, corporate events, placemaking projects or large-scale public events.

  • Experience developing experiential concepts, moodboards, visual references or creative territories.

  • Comfortable structuring clear and compelling client-facing proposals in Google Slides.

  • Familiarity with using generative AI or productivity tools for research, ideation, writing, planning or workflow improvement.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate:

  • Takes ownership and drives projects forward without constant supervision.

  • Brings relevant, original and well-considered ideas to the table.

  • Can turn an open-ended brief into a clear experiential concept and proposal direction.

  • Has a strong creative eye and understands what makes a presentation visually cohesive and persuasive.

  • Anticipates problems, identifies gaps and recommends practical solutions.

  • Communicates confidently with clients and internal teams.

  • Looks for smarter and more efficient ways of working, including the responsible use of AI.

  • Balances creativity, client objectives, operational feasibility and profitability.
